Meet Kristal S. Ramirez

Founder & Lead Attorney | K R Law

Kristal S. Ramirez is a Georgia trial attorney with over a decade of litigation-focused experience in personal injury and family law. Known for her courtroom skills and client-first mindset, she leads with strategy, empathy, and a relentless drive to get her clients justice.


Although originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Kristal’s roots and family ties stretch from Albany (Leary), Georgia, to the Metro Atlanta area. She earned her B.S. in Criminal Justice from Georgia State University and her J.D. from John Marshall Law School, where she served as President of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA), competed in national moot court competitions, and received the school’s highest honor—The Outstanding Graduate Award.


Attorney Ramirez established K R Law with the goal to provide personalized, client-focused representation rooted in integrity, preparation, and advocacy. Before launching her own practice, Kristal co-founded and led Reid Ramirez Law Group, LLC. She later established Kristal Ramirez Law, LLC, where she continues to serve clients across Metro Atlanta with personalized, litigation-ready representation.


Her early legal training included an internship with the City of Atlanta Solicitor’s Office under the Third Year Practice Act, as well as the rare distinction of drafting an appellate brief submitted to the U.S. Supreme Court.


Kristal is admitted to practice in the State of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of Georgia. She is an active member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, American Bar Association, and multiple local bar associations.


When she’s not in court, Kristal stays connected to her community through volunteer initiatives and mentorship programs, including clothing drives, youth empowerment events, and pro bono legal clinics.
